In his state budget, Governor Gavin Newsom proposes eliminating Dental Managed Care from some of the state’s most underserved and low-income communities. In Sacramento and Los Angeles counties, Dental Managed Careworks for kids and their families who need a fully integrated dental benefit plan that puts beneficiaries at the center of care.
This group of vulnerable children are at risk of losing their access to quality dental care. That’s why local health clinics, non-profit organizations, the Teamsters, and school districts across the counties oppose elimination of theprogram.
